texture and consistency is like a tootsie roll with rice krispies mixed in throughout tastes like a fudge brownie satisfies hunger and doesn't need water to eat. doesn't melt in heat like the chocolate covered energy bars. wife and kids like the taste good emergency food source 3 year shelf life will definitely buy more and try the peanut butter too. I first had these while hiking at Philmont Scout Ranch on a trek. We had the real Hooah bar though, not soldier fuel. Anyway, it is the same mostly and really does a good job. I have them for breakfast.
This is the best tasting energy bar I have tried and not only tasty, but a great energy pick me up. Highly recommended.
This one is not the "best" tasting energy bar out there for me. However it tastes okay as an energy bar. Decent product, though.
